Principal Hren has asked that all coaches remind students that they do not get an extra day to turn in assignments when they return to school after a event or game. For example, if an assignment was due on the day of a meet, you must either turn the assignment in prior to leaving school for the meet, or if this is not possible, you must turn it in the next day when you return to school.
I strongly recommend that you make every effort possible to turn in your assignments to your teachers before you leave for the meet. That way there is no question as to weather it has been turned in on time or not because you were gone to a meet - the assignment has been turned in.
Remember - you are a student athlete - with student first.
