Team Practice Schedule for September 24 - September 29

8 weeks down with 4 to go before region and state championships! 

Monday, September 24 @ 5:00 PM at Lions Park. The workout is a 70-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass

Tuesday, September 25 @ 5:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. To prepare for the region championship race to be held on our home course on October 9, today we will run our 3 mile home course. We finish with four 200 meter downhill repeats on hole 1.

Wednesday, September 26. John Thornton Invitational in Blanding.   Team members will be excused at 12:30 PM (after lunch) to board the bus for Blanding. We will not stop on the way to Blanding, so please pack snacks and a large water bottle for the trip. Race times are 4:00 for JV; and 4:30 for Varsity. We will stop in Blanding after the race for dinner, and should return to the High School at around 8:00 PM. 

Thursday, September 27 @ 3:00 PM at Rotary Park. Our 2nd run with the dogs followed by pizza and a movie! More information on this to follow at practice this week!

Friday, September 28 Park City Invitational in Park City. The bus will depart from the HS at 8:30 am for Park City. We will stop for lunch on the way and for dinner after the race.  Race times are girls JV at 4:00; boys JV at 4:30; girls varsity at 5:00 and boys varsity at 5:30. Expect to return to Moab at around midnight. 

Saturday, September 29.  Enjoy the weekend off!
