Team Practice Schedule for October 1 - October 6

Championship season begins! 1 week to the region championship and 2 weeks to the state championships! 

Monday, October 1 @ 5:00 PM at Lions Park. The workout is a 70-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass

Tuesday, October 2 @ 5:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. We start the workout with an easy 20-minute run. We then run 3 x 1,000 at race pace with a 2 minute recovery between each. We finish the workout with an easy 15-minute run and 10 minutes of core work.

Wednesday, October 3 @ 5:00 at Rotary Park. The workout is a 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass.

Thursday, October 4 @ 7:00 PM at the HS track. Our 2nd annual runapalooza under the lights on the track! Events include predict your mile time, team relays and other fun running events!

Friday, October 5 @ 2:15 at the HS track. We start the workout with an easy 20-minute warmup run. We then run 3 x 5 minute on the trail behind the HS at a tempo pace (comfortably hard) with 2 minute recovery between each.  We then head to the track for 4 x 200 at a fast pace with a 200-meter jog between each. We then finish the workout with an easy 10-minute run.     

Saturday, October 6 @ 9:00 am at Lions Park. The workout is a 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass in the park.
