Team Practice Schedule for September 3 - September 8

5 weeks down with 7 to go before region and state championships!

With the heat on please make sure and bring a water bottle with you to school and hydrate all day long! Your training will be much easier if you are hydrating!

Monday, September 3 @ 5:30 PM at Lions Park. Coach Dan and I will briefly with each runner prior to the start of practice at 6:15 to discuss individual goals. The workout is a 60-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 6 strides on the grass and 10 minutes of core work

Tuesday, September 4 @ 6:30 PM at the Moab Golf Club. Easy 3-mile taper run for all runners. We finish with 6 strides on the grass.

Wednesday, September 5. Our home meet at the Moab Golf Club! Team members will be released from school at 12:30 (right after lunch) and have the option to ride the bus or drive their own car to the golf course. The bus will leave from in front of the High School at 12:40 pm. All team members must be at the course by 1:00 pm. The meet begins with Jr High races at 3:00 pm. The HS boys race starts at 4:00 pm and the HS girls race starts at 4:30. Following the awards ceremony, all team members must participate in sweeping and cleaning the course

Thursday, September 6 @ 5:30 PM at Sand Flats. Easy 4-mile conversational pace recovery run.

Friday, September 7 @ 2:15 on the HS track. 30-30-30's. 30-second sprint followed by a 30-second jog repeated 30 times.

Saturday, September 8.  Enjoy the weekend off!
