Monday, August 27 @ 4:00 PM at Lions Park. 70-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 8 strides on the grass and 10 minutes of core work.
Tuesday, August 28 @ 5:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. An easy 20-minute warm-up run, followed by 5 x 1,000 race pace with 3:00-minute recovery between each. We finish the workout with an easy 15-minute cool down run.
Wednesday, August 29 @ 5:00 PM at Rotary Park. 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 8 strides on the grass and 10 minutes of core work.
Thursday, August 30 @ 5:00 PM at Sandflats. 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 10 minutes of form drills.
Friday, August 31: Loyd's Lake Classic in Monticello. Team members will be excused at 12:30 PM (after lunch) to board the bus for Monticello. We will not stop on the way to Monticello, so please pack snacks and a large water bottle for the trip to Monticello. Race times are 4:00 for JV boys; 4:05 JV Girls; 4:45 Varsity Boys and 4:50 Varsity Girls. We will stop in Monticello after the race for dinner, and should return to the High School at around 8:00 PM.
Saturday, September 1 @ 9:00 am at Lions Park. 45-minute training run for all runners.
