Team Practice Schedule for August 20 - August 25

3 weeks down - 9 to go to State!

Monday, August 20 @ 4:00 PM at Lions Park. 60-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 8 strides on the grass and 10 minutes of core work.

Monday August 20 @ 6:00 PM at the HS Auditorium. Mandatory Player/Parent meeting for all fall programs. The HS administration will discuss overall school rules and then teams get together and discuss individual team rules and expectations

Tuesday, August 21 @ 5:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. A 20-minute warm-up run, followed by 12 alternating 400's on the grass. We finish the workout with an easy 10-minute cool down run.   

Wednesday, August 22 @ 5:00 PM at Rotary Park. 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 8 strides on the grass and 15 minutes of core work.

Thursday, August 23 @ 5:00 PM at Sandflats. 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 8 strides on the grass and 15 minutes of core work.

Friday, August 24 @ 2:15 on the HS track: An easy 40 minute training run for all runners. Following the run, we board the bus to travel to Salt Lake City where on Saturday morning we will compete in the Westlake Grass Relays. We will stop for dinner in Spanish Fork, and spend the night at the Courtyard Lehi at Thanksgiving Point, cost per team member is $30 for the hotel room

Saturday, August 25: Westlake Grass Relays held at Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs, UT. First race (Frosh/Soph girls is at 8:00), with the last race (Boys JV) at 9:20. We will stop for lunch on the way home, and should return to Moab at around 3:00 PM.
