Team Practice Schedule for August 15 - 20

3rd week of practice! Evening practices start this week and as you all know the weather is extremely hot. Please hydrate all day prior to practice and bring a full water bottle to practice.

Monday August 15 @ 7:00 pm at Rotary Park: Long 7 mile run for our "A" runners; 5.5 mile run for our "B" runners. 4 strides when we return to the park.

Tuesday August 16 @ 7:00 pm at Rotary Park: 2 mile warm up run followed by 6 x 200; 6 x 400 and 6 x 200 with a 200 meter jog recovery on the HS track. We finish with a 1 mile cool down jog back to the park where uniforms will be handed out.

Wednesday August 17 @ 3:00 pm at Rotary Park: 4 mile taper run for all runners followed by 4 strides on the grass at Rotary Park. 

Wednesday August 17 @ 6:30 at USU. Parent / Player meeting.

Thursday August 18: First meet of the season - The Highland Invitational in Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City. Team members will be dismissed from school at 8:45 am to board the bus. BRING YOUR HOMEWORK WITH YOU TO DO ON THE BUS! We will stop at the Subway in Wellingon for lunch. First race of the day (Freshman Boys) is at 3:00, while the last race of the day (Girls Varsity) is at 6:10. After the meet we will stop for dinner before heading back to Moab. We should be back at the High School around 11:30 pm.

Friday August 19 @ 9:00 PM at Rotary Park: Medium 5 mile moonlight run for all runners with pancakes at Denny's after the run.

Saturday August 20: Easy 4 - 5 mile run on your own.
