With the heat on please make sure and bring a water bottle with you to school and hydrate all day long! Your training will be much easier if you are hydrating!
Monday, September 4 @ 6:30 PM at Lions Park. 8-mile run for varsity runners and a 6-mile run for JV runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass.
Tuesday, September 5 @ 6:30 PM at the Moab Golf Club. 40-minute run on holes 1,2 and 3 at the golf course. We finish with four 200-meter downhill strides on the grass.
Wednesday, September 6. Richfield Invitational. Team members will be released from school at 11:15 for the Richfield Invitational. Bus leaves at 11:30. We will stop at Subway in Green River on the way to the meet. Race times are 4:00 for the boys and 4:10 for the girls. After the meet, we will stop to eat in Richfield before finishing the day with an easy 3-mile run at the Green River Golf Course.
Thursday, September 7 @ 6:30 PM at Sand Flats. 6-mile run for all runners at Fins and Things at the Sand Flats Recreation Area.
Friday, September 8 @ 2:15 at the HS. Depending on the weather we will do 8 to 12 - 400 meter repeats with a 2-minute recovery between each run. We finish the workout with 2 complete sets of weight training in the weight room.
Saturday, September 9 @ 8:00 am at the HS. Team hike led by Coach Trish. More details to follow. We should return to the HS around 4:00 PM.
