With the heat on please make sure and bring a water bottle with you to school and hydrate all day long! Your training will be much easier if you are hydrating!
Monday, September 11 @ 6:00 PM at the HS track. 4-mile run for all runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the football field.
Tuesday, September 12 @ 6:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. 5k effort repetitions. 5 x 1,000 @ 3 mile pace. We focus on consistent pacing; surging turns and our kick on the last 250 meters. 4-minute recovery between reps. We finish the workout with 10 minutes of core work.
Wednesday, September 13 @ 6:00 PM at Rotary Park. We begin the workout with a 15-minute warm-up. We then run (9) 90-second hill repeats up Sand Flats hill. We finish the workout with a 15-minute cooldown run and 10 minutes of core work.
Thursday, September 14 @ 6:00 PM at Sand Flats. 7-mile run for Alpha's, and a 5-mile run for Beta's out and back at Sand Flats.
Friday, September 15 @ 2:15 at the HS. Easy 3-mile taper run to Swanny City Park and back. At 4:00 pm we board the bus to compete on Saturday at the BYU Autumn Classic in Provo.
Saturday, September 16 @ 8:00 am - 12:30. There are 8 different races that morning from freshman to varsity. After the races, we will stop for lunch on the way home. We should be home by 6:00 PM that night.
