Team Practice Schedule for October 12 - 17

Our last full week of practice - this season really flew by fast!

Monday October 12 @ 5:00 at Coach Trish's office at USU on 200 South across from the Gonzo Inn: Easy 2 mile run followed by a team meeting in Coach Trish's office.

Tuesday October 13: Region 15 Championship Race in Redmond, UT. The race starts at the Redmond LDS Church on 100 North in Redmond. Team members will be excused at 11:10 to board the bus for Salina. Bus leaves from in front of the HS at 11:30. We will stop at Subway in Green River for lunch on the way. Girls varsity race is at 4:00; Varsity boys race is at 4:30. After the race we will stop for dinner at Mom's Cafe in Salina before we head back to Moab. We should be back in Moab at around 9:30 PM.

Wednesday October 14 @ 5:00 at Rotary Park: We begin our preparations for the State Championship race with a conversational 4 mile recovery run.

Thursday October 15 @ 5:15 at Rotary Park: 5 one mile repeats

Friday October 16 @ 3:00 at Rotary Park: Hill repeats going up Sand Flats Road

Saturday October 17: Easy 3 mile run on your own. It is important to keep your legs moving over the weekend prior to the State Championship race on Wednesday

Little Devil Fun Run

Our second annual Little Devil Fun Run fundraiser for the team. A fun event that was enjoyed by all. Thanks to all the team members that participated in this fun event!

Team Practice Schedule for October 5 - October 10

Here is the practice schedule for the tenth full week of practice. A busy week with a meet on Wednesday and the Little Devil Fun Run scheduled for Saturday morning.

Monday October 5 @ 5:00 pm at Rotary Park: 5 mile run

Tuesday October 6 @ 5:15 pm at the HS track: 3.5 mile taper run

Wednesday October 7: North Sevier Invitational in Redmond, UT. The race starts at the Redmond LDS Church on 100 North in Redmond. Team members will be excused at 11:20 to board the bus for Salina. Bus leaves from in front of the HS at 11:30. We will stop at Subway in Green River for lunch on the way. Girls varsity race is at 4:00; Varsity boys race is at 4:05. After the race we will stop for dinner in Salina before we head back to Moab. We should be back in Moab at around 8:30 PM.

Thursday October 8 @ 5:15 at the HS track: 4 mile recovery run at a conversational pace

Friday October 9 @ 3:00 PM at the HS track: Fire on the track Friday - speed workout on the track

Saturday October 10 @ 8:00 am: Our second annual team fundraiser - The Little Devil Fun Run at Rotary Park. Team members will assist in the setup and take down of the Little Devil Fun Run along the Mill Creek Parkway for kids 13 and younger. Please bring a home baked treat for the kids to enjoy after the race. When the race is completed and everything is put away team members will enjoy a two mile run along the parkway to finish out the week.
