Team Practice Schedule for October 2 - October 7

10 weeks down! Region championships next week and state championships in two weeks!
Monday, October 2 @ 6:00 PM at Lions Park. 7-mile run for alpha runners, 5-mile run for beta runners. We start at a conversational pace, then we increase the intensity for 20 minutes before finishing conversational. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass.
Tuesday, October 3 @ 6:00 PM at the Moab Golf Club. A one-mile warm-up run, followed by 6 uphill repeats and then three downhill repeats on hole 3. We finish with 10 minutes of core work.
Wednesday, October 4 at Rotary Park. 6 mile run for alpha runners, 5 mile run for beta runners at a conversational pace. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass.
Thursday, October 5 @ 7:30 PM at the HS track. Our first runapalooza under the lights on the track! Events include predict your mile time, 800-meter team relays and other fun running events!
Friday, October 6 @ 2:15 at the HS. 1 mile warmup followed by 6 follow the leader runs on the dirt trail going to the slackline park. We finish with an easy 1-mile cooldown.
Saturday, October 7 @ 8:00 am at Lions Park. Easy 3 mile run for all runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass.
