Team Practice Schedule for August 28 - September 2

4 weeks down with 8 to go before region and state championships!

With the heat on please make sure and bring a water bottle with you to school and hydrate all day long! Your training will be much easier if you are hydrating!

Monday, August 28 @ 3:30 PM. All team members should report to the 1/2 mile monument marker on the Millcreek Trail for team pictures. Please remember to bring your order form and money if you want an individual picture.

Monday, August 28 @ 6:30 PM at Moab Golf Club. 5-mile run for varsity runners and a 4-mile run for JV runners. We finish the workout with 4 strides on the grass and 10 minutes of core work.

Tuesday, August 29 @ 6:30 PM at the Moab Golf Club. Easy 3-mile taper run for all runners. We finish with 6 strides on the grass.

Wednesday, August 30. Our home meet at the Moab Golf Club! Team members will be released from school at 12:30 (right after lunch) and have the option to ride the bus or drive their own car to the golf course. The bus will leave from in front of the High School at 12:40 pm. All team members must be at the course by 1:00 pm. The meet begins with Jr High races at 3:00 pm. The HS boys race starts at 4:00 pm and the HS girls race starts at 4:30. Following the awards ceremony, all team members must participate in sweeping and cleaning the course.

Thursday, August 25 @ 6:30 PM at Sand Flats. Easy 4-mile conversational pace recovery run.

Friday, September 1. Congratulations on making it thru 5 weeks of training! Enjoy the day off - you all have earned it!

Saturday, September 2. Easy 4 to 6 mile run on your own.
