Monday: Lions Park
Tuesday: Moab Golf Course
Wednesday: Rotary Park
Thursday: Sand Flats Recreation Area
Friday: HS Track
Monday, July 30 @ 6:00 AM at Lions Park. 40-minute training run for all runners. All runners should be making a good effort in aerobic range on this run, and should still be able to talk in sentences (listen to your body). We finish the workout with 6 strides on the grass and 15 minutes of core work.
Tuesday, July 31 @ 6:00 AM at the Moab Golf Club. A 20-minute warm-up run, followed by 5 x 1,000 meter repeats with a three-minute recovery between each. We finish with an easy 10-minute cooldown run.
Wednesday, August 1 @ 6:00 AM at Rotary Park. 45-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 6 strides on the grass and 15 minutes of core work.
Thursday, August 2 @ 6:00 AM at Sandflats. 35-minute training run for all runners. We finish the workout with 6 strides and 15 minutes of core work.
Friday, August 3 @ 6:00 at the HS. We start with a team 1-mile warmup to Rotary Park and back. We then do a 3-mile (12-lap) time trial on the track. We finish with an easy team 1-mile cooldown to Zax and back along the Millcreek trail.
