Team Practice Schedule for September 29 - October 4

Ninth week of practice!

I apologize for the delay in this post. I was waiting for the time of the Homecoming Assembly on Wednesday - once I had the time of the Assembly I could determine what time we would leave for Blanding. 
 
Monday September 29 @ 5:00 pm PM at Rotary Park. Five mile run at a conversational pace.

Tuesday September 30 @ 5:15 PM at the HS track. 3 mile taper run.

Wednesday October 1. John Thornton Invitational in Blanding. This year the race will be run on the Pacheco Trail which is located behind the visitors center on Main Street. Team members will be excused at 12:00 to board the bus for Blanding. Bus leaves from in front of the HS at 12:15. Boys JV race is at 4:00; Varsity boys race is at 4:30; Varsity girls race is at 4:35. After the race we will stop for dinner in Blanding before we head back to Moab. We should be back in Moab at around 9:00 PM.
 
Thursday October 2 @ 5:30 PM at Rotary Park: 4 mile recovery run followed with four 100 yard strides.

Friday October 3 @ 3:00 PM at Rotary Park: Six mile run at conversational pace.

Saturday October 4: Enjoy the weekend off!

Carbon Invitational (Price, UT) Results

Below are the official results from the Carbon Invitational meet on September 24, 2014 in Price, UT. Their were nine boys and girls teams competing at the meet. The course was 2.80 miles long.

Team Practice Schedule for September 22 - 27

Eighth week of practice!

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and got their rest. This is going to be the hardest week of practice this season as we prepare for the region meet in three weeks. In addition to "training thru and after" the meet on Wednesday (meaning no taper run and no recovery run) we will run the course a second time in Price right after the meet on Wednesday.

Monday September 22 @ 6:00 pm PM at Rotary Park. Five mile timed tempo run followed with four one hundred yard strides.

Tuesday September 23 @ 4:00 PM at Rotary Park. Speed work with Coach Rodney followed by "Pizza and a Movie" at Canyonlands Best Western.

Wednesday September 24. Carbon Invitational at the Carbon Country Club in Price. Team members will be excused at 12:00 to board the bus for Price. Bus leaves from in front of the HS at 12:20. Boys race is at 4:00 with the girls race at 4:30. After we run the course a second time, we will stop for dinner in Price before we head back to Moab. We should be back in Moab at around 9:30 PM.
 
Thursday September 25 @ 6:00 PM at Rotary Park: Long six mile run followed with four one hundred yard strides.

Friday September 26 @ 3:00 PM at Rotary Park: Six one mile repeats.

Saturday September 27: Enjoy the weekend off! - you have earned it!
